Do you think AATP's Time of the Roses skirt in mint would look good with A Pretty Sight Flat in Mint from modcloth? The lace on the shoes is white, while the lace on the skirt looks more offwhite, but I was hoping to wear them together (I've always wanted to do a classic mint coord)
I think it you were planning on doing a Casual/Classic coord it would work but because the shoes strike me as very casual I’m not sure about anything else. The skirt is gorgeous and the shoes are cute too but I sort of feel a disconnect between the two.
Managed to get some rest and take good coord shots for Sunday AM! I think this is my best coord to date. ^^
This coord is too cute, I love the teacup headdress!!! <3

Okay, since you didn't get it, I'll ask again. So basically, I was wondering how connected aatp and baby were connected? Like, would I be able to wear aatp to a baby tea party, or is that a big no no. It's just at anime Midwest. Also, I notice closer child sells "defect" brand, so can I wear those to a baby tea party(if it's baby or aatp?) Thanks for your time, A very confused beginner.
Baby created AatP. Some people would consider them different brands but within the same company or you could say they’re different lines within the same brand but either way you look at it yes, it would be perfectly fine to wear AatP to a Baby tea party.
As for the “defect” brand, that really just means there may be a small stain or a button is missing or something like that. It’s still the original brand item so it would be perfectly fine to wear to your tea party, it’s just maybe not quite how it was originally intended to be sold.
Hi, I was wondering if I could ask some advice on coordinating AatP's Queen's Coach JSK II in pink? I already have some things I could do a 'safe' coord with (matching headbow, white tights and blouse, pink shoes, suitable jewellery) but I was wondering if you have any ideas for something a bit different? One idea I've had is to work navy into the coord (bag, shoes, bolero/cardigan) as I love the combination of navy and pink. Is that too 'out there' as there is no navy on the dress itself?
I definitely think it would be fine to add navy in there. I agree that navy and pink look cute together and I think navy is also a color that would suit the theme of the print nicely. Like you said you could do your bag, shoes, and a bolero in navy, then maybe you could make big accessory items like socks and your hair accessory ivory, then pop a touch of the navy into your hair accessory and you could tie it all together with a brooch or rosette in pink on the navy bolero.
I have AATP'S Mearia Bouquet JSK in black, and recently tried to pair it with in ivory IW round collar blouse... and something just looked off about it. I liked the colour, but not the style. Any suggestions? Would a high collar blouse or maybe something chiffon work? Or should just I go with a darker colour like burgundy/maroon for the blouse? Thank you so much!
I like the ivory, I would keep that, just change the style of blouse. I think a high collar would look nice, or something like this with a wider, less round collar which can fall nicely over the straps of the dress.
Do you have any idea if the Cock Robin JSK I by AATP is a-line or bell? I've had the dress since May, and I've been wearing it with a bell shaped petti, but for some reason, I feel like I'm getting an odd silhouette. I don't think it necessarily looks bad, but it sort of gets this more pumkiny shape. I'm starting to wonder if I need to get an a-line petti for this dress, but the stock images don't seem to look a-line either. So confused! Thanks a lot <3
An A-line would definitely not be the way to go. It has a very round shape and an A-line would not fill it out well. It sounds like the shape you’re getting is pretty similar to what they show in the stock images.
