No blouse. If you really want to cover your shoulders you can do that by pulling the little sleeves up and using them as cap sleeves, but I think it looks cuter with them down on the sides. If you read through my tags a blouse isn’t always 100% necessary with a JSK if it’s modest enough (as in not so low that it shows cleavage and has at least some sort of straps) and it’s decorative enough that it actually looks pretty without one. Some JSKs just look boring and not very cute if you don’t wear a blouse with them like if they’re just a plain square neckline but if you have something cute like this with the little sleeves or you have a very decorative collar like a sailor collar for example you can get away without a blouse. You don’t necessarily have to completely cover your shoulders and collar bones. If you read through this tag and look at the examples there as well you’ll get an idea of what JSKs do and don’t need blouses.
Good choice. I love that JSK and there’s a lot you can do with it actually. There are a lot of options for blouses I think. Something like this for example would be very nice, especially in black but in off-white it would be great too. It has a very soft and elegant look but it’s more simple than other things. If you wanted a little more detail, something like this with the jabot removed would be perfect, particularly in black. Once again it’s very soft and elegant, much like the dress.
Bell-shaped, without a doubt. Their picture for it in brown looks kinda wonky, but just look at how very round the others look.
I think that would look great! With some flowers and accessories to match the print of the tights I think that dress would be a great option.
