I want to ask your opinion on something. I came across a lovely high-quality royal blue velvet and I’m dying to use. I was wondering how it would look in a style like Bodyline’s L469 skirt (http://www.bodyline.co.jp/bodyline/showProduct2.asp?id=6969&pageNumber=1&pageStop=stop_3&noSubType=N), but with a fuller cupcake shape, with white undeneath instead of the black/red and a replacing the high-waist part with a normal waistband.
Or should I go for a regular scalloped style like this http://www.bodyline.co.jp/bodyline/showProduct2.asp?id=6186&pageNumber=2&pageStop=stop_1&noSubType=N (sans the ruffles and bows).

I think it would look nice in the first style. I can see it being really nice with a Sailor Lolita coord if you did the high waist style with brass buttons. If you wanted to use just a short normal waistband too I think it would work out fine.
