I always see things popping up like this. “I wish there were more things like this” “I wish other styles were more popular” “All I ever see is…”
And it makes me think that people aren’t really looking at everything. They see some posts on tumblr that are probably OTT Sweet because that’s the most popular style right now and has been for some time but they fail to realize that just because it’s the most popular doesn’t mean they can’t wear other styles. Just because a lot of hair styles use curly hair doesn’t mean you have to. Just because a lot of Lolitas wear wigs doesn’t mean you have to. Just because a lot of Lolitas cover themselves in fuzzy stars and OTT sugary sweet cutsey pastel prints doesn’t mean you have to. Look around instead of just looking in one place. Maybe follow some new blogs. Do some extra research to find what you want rather than just wishing for it to magically appear. You may be pleasantly surprised by what you find.
